Take a deep breath.

Here comes December. The holidays, the traveling, the kids home from school. The feelings. So many feelings. This is your invitation to slow down and pause this December with a simple journaling practice.

Amelia (shopkeeper of Lauda) and Liz Lamoreux (writer and teacher extraordinaire) have teamed up to bring you a journaling kit that includes:

  • Evergreen journal handmade in Tacoma, WA (our home!) by Jonathan of Arcady Goods.
  • A classic black Le Pen fine liner.
  • A library pocket filled with goodies to add to your journal. Tags, special paper clips, one of Liz’s signature “to be opened when you most need it” envelopes with a secret message, another surprise or two, and a handwritten blessing from Liz.
  • A note from Liz and Amelia with prompt ideas to help you fill your journal.

This kit was designed to be used along with Liz’s December Pause ecourse, but could be used in dozens of ways. The notebook pages are blank, and the pen and paper pack are super versatile. It makes a beautiful gift for anyone who loves journaling (or just thinks they’d like to try!), and can be used in any way you’re drawn to.

Learn more about December Pause and join Liz for a daily, simple journaling practice of making lists.

Order by November 18th for shipping on November 21st.

Orders received after November 18th will ship by November 23rd.

ABOUT LIZ & AMELIA

We formed a fast friendship and creative partnership when Liz visited Lauda with her family, and bravely confessed to Amelia that she is a writer and teacher of journaling and creative practices. Amelia latched on and never let go. They bonded over their Enneagram Four-ness, the joys and challenges of parenting, and love of poetry, pens, and journaling. They soon developed Write Here, a weekly journaling group hosted at Lauda and led by Liz, and have continued to collaborate on kits and workshops. If you walk into Lauda on a weekday you’re likely to find them in the classroom deep in a brainstorm, or reading poems, or talking about their favorite comfort movies.
