These 7x5" calendar cards are designed so that when the month is over, you can cut off the artwork and send it as a postcard. Just cut along the dotted line, buy a stamp, write a nice note and send it off. Once cut, postcards are about 4x5". A great challenge to send a handwritten note to a friend each month.
Papercut artist Anna Brones makes a postcard calendar every year. The artwork in this year's calendar is meant to embrace a sense of calm, balance, and grounding. It's the kind of art that offers a little moment of pause in times that feel hectic. A breath. A reset. Almost all the pieces were cut freehand (ie no drawing on the paper beforehand), although they are made up of shapes and forms that continually show up in Anna's sketchbooks, and represent her distinctive style.
The calendars are loose, unbound, 7x5" sheets and printed on recycled paper in Seattle, Washington and packaged in a commercially compostable clear sleeve.
